The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is the largest human care organization in Dallas, established in Dallas in 1885. The Dallas YMCA consists of 23 branches, including our Community Services YMCA, and our resident camp location, Camp Grady Spruce. The Dallas YMCA serves 7 counties and operates an additional 90 program sites.

The YMCA will be the premier human development agency in North Texas to teach values to kids; to strengthen and support families; to help teenagers make the transition into adulthood; and create safe environments that allow individuals to develop total health.

The YMCA at White Rock offers programs for the entire family including: licensed child care programs, youth sports programs, family programs, teen programs, and wellness programs. The YMCA at White Rock currently serves over 4000 facility members, including 525 seniors (Active Older Adults).

Each year the YMCA grants scholarships to children and families in need. These scholarships are made possible through our Partners Campaign. In 2007, the YMCA at White Rock granted over $120,000 in scholarships to kids and families in our service area.
