A team of second-graders from St. Thomas Aquinas School won first place in the Town North YMCA's Fall Flag Football Tournament for their age division Nov. 16.

After an undefeated season, the team bested a field of 24 teams in a two-day single elimination tournament to clinch the win.

According to coach John Stollenwerck, "These fine young men practiced hard and played great offense and defense all season long. In 11 of the13 games played, the Wildcats were able to win by two touchdowns or more."
