Rowers associated with the White Rock Boathouse begin a series of races on the lake at 7:15 a.m. Nov. 15. The races continue until the final launch at 10:15 a.m.

Most of the action will take place along the western shore of White Rock Lake, for people interested in watching scull after scull glide across the water, and it should make for some interesting sights and photographs.

Ryan White, program director and head coach with White Rock Boathouse Inc., needs volunteers to serves as dock master and a timer at the finish line.
