Attracted to Magnets
Parents typically want the best for their children, and in Dallas ISD, the best for some students comes from a magnet high school.
Greater White Rock Area Early Childhood PTA has arranged a guest speaker — physics instructor Dr. Rebecca Jensen — from the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center to explain options available to parents and students and the application process before enrolling in a magnet.
The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 in St. Joseph's Room in the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
