Selling Poinsettias, Raising Money
Expectations, the J.L. Long Middle School choir, needs to raise money to fund a trip during May to a competition in San Antonio.
To do so, choir members and their adult supporters are selling poinsettias for $12 per potted-plant.
The sale runs through Nov. 12, and purchases can be made though the Long PTA, the school choir teacher, Beverly Hirsch, or any member of Expectations.
The plants — available in white, pink, or red — will be delivered during the first week of December.
