A lady who lives just west of White Rock Lake rescued a male beagle near Lakewood Park.
The dog looks to be between 6 and 10 years old, according to the vet who examined him. He had on a choke-chain type of collar with no tags and has no microchip.
He weights about 20 pounds, is friendly, neutered, and gets along with his rescuer's Labrador. The beagle also is good around the rescuer's toddler.
He might be lost, so any information about his home should be sent to the lady who rescued and is now fostering him. He might have been turned out, so anyone interesting in adopting him should contact his rescuer.
