'Suns' Shine in Fall Play

The Woodrow Wilson High School players recently took on a somber point in world history in their portrayal of "Radiance of a Thousand Suns."

The play deals with multiple aspects of Hiroshima, the atomic bomb that destroyed the city, the survivors, the scientists who created the bomb, and the war that pulled its trigger.

Anne McGravie wrote the play in remembrance of the 50th anniversary in 1995 of the Hiroshima bombing, which effectively ended World War II.End of story
