Lakehill Preparatory School students had fun at their annual Carnival, this year on Halloween.
A huge crowd turned out on a warm fall day for Lakehill Preparatory School's annual Halloween Carnival on Oct. 31.
More than 500 people enjoyed the event, which included midway games, cake walk, fortune-teller, bounce house, face painting, and a haunted house.
"We had beautiful weather, wonderful volunteers, and great participation from students, parents, faculty, and staff," said PFC President Tina Simpson. "I especially want to recognize Michelle Crow and Elizabeth Ferguson, who do such a great job organizing the carnival. I really appreciate everyone's participation and would dare to say that the event was a haunting success."
The annual Halloween Carnival is a long-held Lakehill tradition and takes place each fall. The fun-filled event, held on Halloween Day, is planned and executed by parent volunteers from the Parent Faculty Club, the PFC.
Cheerleaders performed "spooky" cheers in the carpool line during the three days preceding the carnival, to encourage parents to donate candy. Parents also donated baked goods for the cake walk.
