The Lakewood Service League put on its fifth annual Walk, Wag, and Run multifaceted event Oct. 25 to raise money for this year's beneficiaries, YMCA at White Rock and For the Love of the Lake.

Events included 5K and a 10K race, and a 3K dog walk; Camp Canine, a seven-station activity course; the Kids 1K Ruff Race; Howl-o-Ween Kids Fair; arts and crafts vendors; food; and costume contests.

Mostly, though, it involved community members enjoying a lovely fall day at the lake.
