Black Dog Found

The folks with the Little Forest Hills Animal Alert program are fostering a dog rescued by a kind soul from the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Abrams Road.

On older female black Lab-mix, who walks with a limp, was retrieved from the street Oct. 8 after come coaxing.

She was quite skittish, as would most of us be if left to fend for ourselves in the middle of a busy intersection.

She has a red and white collar, no tags. A trip to vet today should reveal whether or not she has an embedded microchip.

For more information or to identify this girl, contact the Little Forest Hills Animal Alert program.End of story

The trip to the vet was unsuccessful. She is not Microchipped! Also there have been no reports to Lakewood Pet Watch about her. Please look at her closely, if anyone thinks they know her please contact us. She really wants to go home! ~maeleska~

SHE HAS MADE IT HOME!!! Emails I sent out were forwarded to a person that saw a sign for her. She was over a mile from home. Please microchip your pet! At least have tags on them at all times. She would have been home that night had she had tags! Thanks Lakewood-Now for your help. ~maeleska~
