Stonewall Jackson families got together last week to show their appreciation for the teachers and staff at the school.

Because of the recent budgetary troubles at Dallas ISD, Stonewall families wanted their teachers to know they were close to their hearts and minds.

They showered the teachers with notes and posters, signed by both kids and adults, and presented them with a surprise morning breakfast and coffee.

Teachers were also welcomed to school with a large message on the school's marquee that read: "We love our teachers."
