Here and Now: The Wilshire Heights Blog
Trumpeting technology

It's the second day of the State Fair of Texas, and my wife is on the fairgrounds with a friend, taking in all the rides, concerts, and artery-choking food their little hearts desire while I sit at my computer, take care of domestic duties, and hang out — just the way I like the fair.

She took a swing by the auto expo and snapped a shot of a trumpet-playing robot, complete with obligatory cowboy hat, Toyota trotted out — tomorrow's the last day — because one of our neighbors over in Hollywood Heights helped promote the exhibit and she asked nicely.

Somehow I doubt Wynton Marsalis needs to find a new profession and Miles Davis' legacy is safe. Still, pretty cool,  though, in an advancing-technology kind of way.End of story
