A couple of weeks, ago we announced that we would be sponsoring a band and other shenanigans after the Lakewood Fourth of July Parade this year.

We were a bit premature. After initial enthusiasm all around, a number of logistical difficulties emerged out of our ongoing discussions with the parade organizers. In the end, we decided to can the idea for this year.

So — no band — but enjoy the parade as usual. Share some summer fun with your neighbors at the post-parade festivities. And take a moment to be thankful that we live in the United States of America.
